Turkish Airline to Increase Lagos to Istanbul Schedule
Turkish Airline, one of the international airlines connecting Lagos to other destinations, is set to increase its flight frequencies on the Lagos to Istanbul route. This development is aimed at meeting the growing demand for travel along the route.
The expected increase will take the number of flights from 7 weekly flights to 10 weekly flights from 11 December 2026. This is expected to provide Nigerian travellers with easier access through Istanbul. The service will benefit both business and leisure travelers, giving them more access to the airline’s global network of more than 350 destinations across Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East.
Earlier this year, Turkish Airline increased the frequency of flights on the Abuja to Istanbul route to seven weekly flights from June 2026. This update means more access for Nigerian travelers as Nigeria’s aviation industry continues to become more connected to international destinations.
